After having removed the empanage and empanage fairing I drilled to final size and countersunk the holes for the lower fairing retaining screws. Then I drilled for anchor nuts, countersunk for rivet holes and installed the anchor nuts. Following this I applied form-a-gasket material on the fuselage forward upper skin access panel cut outs and installed the panels with some wax paper so the form-a-gasket would not stick to the access panels. Lastly I adjusted the temporary fuselage legs for some extra height for the cowling installation.
